The Friends Bookstore can be accessed from lobby of the Downtown Library Branch at 224 Church Street, Santa Cruz, CA 95060.
The Friends Bookstore relies on donations from the public and is run by volunteers. To donate books, bring them to your local Santa Cruz Public Library.
The Friends Bookstore is open:
Sun – 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Mon – Thurs – 10:00 a.m.– 6:00 p.m.
Fri – 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Sat – 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Lobby Sales at all SCPL Branches
All SCPL branches have a small “Lobby Sale” (a few shelves of books or a book cart). Hardcovers are only one dollar. Paperbacks are 50 cents. Children’s books are 25 cents. All sales are honorable – just pay in the can. With every quarter you spend at our “Lobby Sales,” you support the Santa Cruz Public Libraries.
