This is National Library Week (April 23 -29) and it’s the time when we celebrate our amazing libraries and the dedicated folks who work in them. The theme this year for National Library Week is “There’s more to the story.”
I suppose that it’s natural that the first thing that comes to mind for most of us when we think of the library is a vast collection of books. When we grew up those collections were at the core of our libraries and our experiences in them.
However, there is so much more to the story than that. Modern libraries serve our communities in so many important ways.
